Well sir !

Post by 6pt-sika »

It happened again ! I’ve been looking for a Belgium made Browning A-5 12 MAG 32” full choke barrel to use on my circa 1968 A-5 MAG . I’ve been dancing around with a fellow on GB on and off for one he had listed for $245 shipped that needed a reblue before it would suit me . And all the other 30” or 32” barrels I found were $350+ . So last week I saw a used but not abused circa 1971 Belgium A-5 MAG on GB for sale . And as the story goes while in the PI I bought another one . So when I get home I’ll have a pair of A-5 MAGS with three barrels between them 24” rifle sight slug barrel , 28” modified vent rib and the 32” full vent rib on the gun just purchased .

When are you going to the Philippines? Will you be able to bring your wife back this time?

I’m in the PI right now , I arrived here 10/11/18 and am heading home 11/5/18 . The plan is to return 8/21/19 until 9/20/19 . No won’t be bringing her this time , she’s got obligations with her mother and our grandson for the time being . Wish she were thou and I could also use the help with my own father . My pop turns 83 in December but he been side lined with Parkinson’s for the last four or five years . So each time I go I need to get someone to stay with him .

The new to me circa 1971 Belgium A-5 Browning 12 Mag showed up yesterday . Let me just say the seller far underated his merchandise . I was expecting a kinda beat up but not neglected gun . What I got was a lightly used well maintained gun . Also I got home from the PI Monday but didn’t make it to the shop until Thursday and when I arrived there was a rather nice looking used Leupold 36x BR scope on my desk 8) I had won the auction for that right before I left
