New bike
52 volt/750 w motor, 26” fat tires (4” wide) hydraulic brakes. 25 mile range using just the motor or it can be programmed for different levels of assist. I had a knee replacement in April of 2017 that didn’t turn out so good, so this will be my hunting rig for bird and deer hunting to get me out and about

Re: New bike
Harry,
These new style of bikes are really catching on. I said in another post a buddy of mine...whose has had 4 heart attacks ...and he is only 50 years old......has one of these bikes and I see him on the road all the time. I don't know how he did it but this guy is an electrical genius and added batteries and some other stuff to make it go fifty miles an hour and he can ride it all day before a charge.
Funny as hell, one day I walked in the house and the wife says to me, "you won't believe what I just saw, somebody just went past the house a hundred miles an hour on a bicycle!" Oh well I said, "Mikes Jeep must be broken down again." BTW, his was just a regular bike and he made it an electric one....can also pedal it also.
Well, go take that baby out for a spin and see how fast you can get it to go. Around here, you might last a day before some Beemer or Mercedes runs you over.-----6

Re: New bike
My buddy's Dad out in Lebo Kansas has a 70's vintage bike, banana seat & all that he hooked up a model airplane jet engine to, from what I'm told it does at least 70 and will scare the bejeebers outta ya! Not to mention it'll burn right through yer britches !
BROWN LABS MATTER !!
Re: New bike
I have seen some videos of people who have put hobby jet engines on their bikes. Fuel doesn't last long, but will they go.

Re: New bike
VERY nice, congratulations! I was looking into electric "Fat Bikes" but due to 4 back surgeries I need one that has full suspension front and rear. The ones with decent range and low end power cost an arm and a leg around here,I'm sure the shipping cost contributing to the bottom line. Not much cheaper than a dual purpose motorcycle for me.

Re: New bike
Be sure to put a can of fix a flat in your pack! I used my mountain bike for hunting one fall and instead of saving me walking, it caused me to walk and push a bike too when I got a flat!

Re: New bike
I'm currently looking for something like that. Same reason, knees. I bought a trike and it works well on hard surfaces and even moderately rough stuff. But it has very little ground clearance. Two wheels will go many places three won't.

Re: New bike
That's what I need! I have about 3/4 of a mile walk to my treestand. Don't want to use the four wheeler. That's nice and stealthy.

Re: New bike
That's a neat idea for getting out in the wilderness, cool too...
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

I sense a theme. We are mostly a bunch of old and broken down fanny burbs.
