Birdshot? He may not have brains but he’s got nerves of steel and a pair. I’m thinking I might have had a little more than three rounds of birdshot on me.
Kind regards,
Tycer

The fishing camp we go to in Quebec sees its share of black bears. About 10 years ago there was an aggressive bear hanging around. The only gun in camp was a 410. The bear was pushing on the porch door trying to get in while one of the club members was pushing from the inside. Finally the 410 was handed over and the muzzle was shoved thru the screen on the door touching the bears skull- dead bear. Pictures were taken, statements given then the wardens investigated and deemed legit . Load used was 11/16 oz of 6s. The cabin is built on piers and the bear was blocking the only door. Was last resort to shoot the bear.
