I've been watching that one. I had one in my hands about 20 years ago. At the time the price tag was $15K. Would have been a nice investment, but had about $300 in my pocket that day! :D

Be nice to have that kind of $$ to play with.

Yes it would be nice to be able to drop 75G’s on a collectible item anytime you felt like it

I played with these. Not pictured was a near mint 1910 #22. That sold for 200 big ones. The singer below sold for $75K and the NA Arms went for 50. Can't remember what the 1905's went for. I wanted to shoot one of the 1905's but my bud said "No!
He still has a dozen or more regular 1911A1's still new in the Kraft boxes with probably another 50 of various makes 90% or better.
Funny thing, I've never owned a military 1911 "--- :D --6

I remember when the Singer 1911's sold for $15k-$20k and I thought that was nuts. Now I wish I'd have purchased one and I'd sell it today and laugh all the way to the bank!

Hey Val...you and I always wish for things like that. In addition to all kinds of neat guns it also would be cool to go back and buy a couple of Baldwin Motion Camaros, Yenkos, GT 500 mustangs, put em a humidity controlled garage and cover them up...start em up every couple of months, armorall the rubber.........but.....I don't think we did too badly. I've got many Winchesters and Colts I picked up for a weeks pay that now are 6 months salary...and so did you.---6

Not a Yenko, or Baldwin, but I did own a 427 Camaro for over 40 years that had a dealer installed 427 in it from the day it was new. Just had too many play cars, so something had to go, and it was rarely driven.

I'll stick with my Remington-Rand 1911A1. Lots cheaper, and bet it outshoots any of those Singers! This one was shot at Camp Perry.
