Oh, yeah.

Warmed up with vanilla ice cream on top.

If you're really feelin' decadent, put a little bit of chocolate sauce on top.

A coupla cups of strong black coffee to go with it, and yer ready to face the mornin'!

:D :D :D

My Dad liked his apple pie with a slab of sharp cheddar cheese on top. But then, he was an Okie...

With just one of me here the problem with pie is that I eat the whole pie. :P
I guess I'll be having my three eggs fried medium on a slice of dry 9 grain.

.

I'm no Oakie, but I like a slice of white cheddar melted atop the slice - my Green-Eyed Monster makes sugar-free (Splenda) apple pies that are as delicious as the sugar-sweetened apple pies that I once stuffed down my neck. .

When I have a cold slice (my preference), I lose the cheese.

Gunny....if that's breakfast, I bet you had some pretty loud gas explosions an hour or two after lunch. They are very loud with little smell. I had this croissant with sausage this morning before the match and I had a couple of guys gagging. The funny thing was I did not know these guys and they thought the smell came from my spotter. I could have used the apple pie as it gives propulsion for the sausage......loud and smelly :D ----6

Pie from the oven is much better while it's a bit warm.
Pie warmed up the microwave sucks.
I'd rather have it cold than microwaved.

I recently had some wild hog turned into sausage. Kuby's in Dallas turned it into breakfast sausage and bratwurst for me. I will take pictures tomorrow and post later. I like apple pie, but it is more of a dessert to me. PillHer likes gouda on her apple pie if it is hot. I have never tried it.

I used to make a point of having beans the night before a gun show, was real helpful to keep the aisles moving!

Gunny,
Your story about beans before a gunshow reminded me what I did to my brother 30 or more years ago. We were at this gunshow up in Jim Thorpe ,Pa. It was early in the day and not many people were there. Anyway, we were talking to this dealer with no one else around and I let one out that must have had 20 cubic feet of air.....then I walked away leaving my brother and the dealer by themselves. After I got about 20 feet away I looked back and saw both of them gagging, each one thinking the other did it.

I laughed so hard I messed myself a bit....had to go outside to the car and get a beer. Fun memories----6
