West Coast hunts

My brother downed this coastal deer with his Marlin 30-30 within Sonoma County, northern California. I hunted with him but took my bow because I was advised against bringing a rifle into California. My young forky was arrowed the next morning at a distance of about 15 yards.

Not everyone in northern California is a liberal with strange values.

Good to have pictorial proof that there are good people on California.

Congrats...I perfectly understand trying to make your way through the hellist PNW, chest-high ferns and maple vines....
