One I bought at Walmart when they discontinued them, straighten the stock and lever, lengthen the tube

Maybe the gun has a camo finish and we just can't see it....

These are fine rifles. My understanding is that Remington had a steep learning curve when they absorbed Marlin, but now they are making a good "Marlin" as well.
