warranty

Post by rossim92 »

I just bought a new winchester 1873 in the 44-40 setup. :D Was looking through the box for warranty registration and could not find any. Do I go to winchester sight to register warranty or what?. I have not been to website yet. Any of you fellow levers have any experience in this situation? thanks for any input you give. I havent shot it yet but will save the brass for anybody who is interested in the winchester ammo brass.

I've never 'registered' a gun with the manufacturer, but have gotten warranty service eight or ten times in 40 years, without hassle. Honestly, I wouldn't bother - it is mostly for marketing (not that that's bad - gun catalogs are cool.... ).

Doc is "on the money". Most likely, with a Miroku, you won't have no problems and if you do, will show up on that first box of ammo and in that case, take it back to the dealer.----6
