Happy Birthday Dad

Post by OldWin »

Yeah, I know. My old dad ain't a member here......but he aughta be.
He turns 77 today. To say he is a character doesn't even start to explain. Here is a pic of him getting stands ready on our property and one of the spike he anchored last season. He gets as excited as 10 year old kid when huntin season gets close.
If I have half the sauce he does at that age I will be lucky.

Thank you, my friend. I will. You guy's would like each other. You kinda remind me of him. He is real clever, like you are, and can design and make almost anything.

Thank you again, guys. I hesitated to post it but I knew you all would "get it".
I've been very blessed, and owe this man more than I could ever repay.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR! Make sure to count your pistols after Jay leaves tonight!
Good on him for raising a good son, and good on Jay for being so happy to have him for a Father. Missing my Dad about now.

Thanks again all.
And my sincere condolences to all who have lost their dads. I'd venture there have been some good ones here by the caliber of people on this forum.
I try and make the most of my time with the old man. I know it has a way of running out too soon. I do the same with our sons, too..........but I'm on the other side of that equation. :D
