For me, Winter is when I retire to my cellar workshop and work on my guns (rescue projects, stock refinishing, modifications, etc), knives (making handles for new/boughten blades, sheaths, etc), possible bags, making more powder horns and God only know what else.... 8)

AND THEN
, there's always my Honey-do list... ;)

I have a feeling the winter to come is going to be very, VERY white! I'm glad I have 5 ton of wood pellets in the basement and 3 cord of wood for the shop. As for winter projects I try not to plan. There is always Ammo to load, guns to work on.

Actually, I was planning of fishing, and 4 wheeling this winter. Seems like winter is a great time for outdoor activities here. :lol:

I am heading to Africa the first part of November. No winter there.

You are right, that is THE good book. I read some in it every morning drinking coffee.
