I'll be thru Moab later this week. It's my prefered route up the PNW... although this trip stops in SLC... then I pick up the same day and head to the PNW... I've had a great 3 weeks off, but without the stabilizing hand of a wife, I've spent far too much money... I owe, I owe, so it's off to work I go! Well, on Tuesday, one can't rush into this stuff!

You going thru Minnesota at all? U.S. Hiway2 is great route. Get to see best and worst of our country's scenery. Ive taken 3 diffrent routes from MN to Dawson Creek. They all have their good points. I really miss traveling in the summer. Hey you have a pickup or trailer with room for a bicycle?

I'm not 3leg, or I'd stop and visit you and Pitchy. We are gonna have my son's Jeep and his wife's car, so I guess we would have to give you a tow rope haha!

Hey Griff.....if your cruising through Moab, take the Black Rose off road and show those punky Jeepers what you can do. You could bob tail but it would be really fun with a 53 footer with the tandems moved all the way up.---6

Grillmaster,
The Miss' s says you have a little longer grill time on the chicken...she likes the skin a little darker. Annnnndddddd ...she says you know what your doing by having the charcoal off to the side and the chicken over the drip pan.

A 4" model 10? Not much.....they made a zillion of em...maybe 3 for a nice later example...earlier ones with the five screws and diamond grips a bit more. I've had a mess of those over the years and everyone was a shooter. I sold a pristine 1940's 6" to Pete Martin in July of 2001......he was murdered a month later at the twin towers.........lieutenant in FDNY......

Do you grill most everyday? ---6

Tell the lady she is right but it was a drop in temp for part of the time. Usually 400° for 1 1/4 hrs. but a marginal amount of charcoal and a delay getting it on (mother's day schedule) had it dropping to 350° then 300° at the end. It was nicely done but would have been prettier as she said and so did my wife.

We (I) grill a couple times a week or more. Have had various sizes of these Webers for more than 40 years, turkeys, chickens, steaks, burgers, hot dogs, ribs, rib roasts, shrimp, brisket, pork chops, lamb, sausage ... probably some other stuff.

You should sit and enjoy your meal :-) I like Campbell's Vegetable Beef and Chicken Noodle. The big can of Veggie Beef is the old style.

See Six, this was just short of enough even 6 more briquettes would have carried it through. Didn't want to open another 20 lb bag in the rush.

Hey it was Campbell chicken gumbo but wasn’t any of the good stuff you were talking about. As for sit and relax...last year was our busiest year ever for complaints/allegations of abuse 365 for the year. So far we had 258 on May oneth! And since you can’t tell the public we need more people since all State employees are slackers and idiots no more help. Got money to give away Narcsn like bottles of water but no more staff.

Six, adapt and over come. I was so flipping sick for 7 days. Sunday morning was first day i woke up and felt like making coffee. Then i made a 4 course breakfast, well 5 if'n you count water. Then today i took yours and OS's advice and grilled chops. Sweet taters with lots of butter and brown sugar topped it off!

1st thing vet tech said was look at her swollen hocks! So an exam showed she has a fever, they X rayed both hock areas, one has arthritis but the other - the lame leg is just swollen. Vet took blood, thinks it might be a Lyme flair up, she had Lyme years ago.

Very easy to explain....if you notice, the plate holder is from a sorority house.......it's what all the girls say to me "afterwards".

Gunny......hope your little buddy feels better. We all feel the pain when others we care about have it.....I was just looking out the window and Stonewall was laying on the wet ground....WTF?.....I ran out there and it seems he was just taking a break from standing.

Well, At least it's not raining.......yesterday I dug another 40' ditch to connect it with the other ditch to facilitate the draining. ----6

Looks like an Italian import copy of a Colt SAA w/3-½" bbl and maybe a Colt 1860 grip frame... with a light & optic sight mounted... not legal for SASS, but maybe someone wants their very own category for Steel Challenge!!!

Sorry about the pup, Gunny.
The vet just told my wife he can't believe ours is still walking. Dysplasia. She is only 3. My wife is hurting.

Freakin' snowed here today!

Good buddy of mine had a azzhole cross the line and head on his Harley Saturday. Broke both femurs, head injuries, collapsed lung, dislocated shoulder......
Bad shape. They amputated part of a leg yesterday.

Shapin' up to be a h3ll of a week.
