Always liked the morning after a fresh snowfall....looks great and as for plowing? Who gives a shyt? I use to run out there and get her done.....believe there was more to it.....just wanted to play with the John Deere and then the Kubota...

OK...pretend it snows a foot....anyone with half a brain and does not work keeps two weeks-a month supply of food at home. Phuck it..except for around the house....why plow?

As opposed to when I was a kid, when four wheel drives vehicles were rare, we had to shovel for my dad to get to work...everyone shoveled....only rich people/farmers had plows. It ain't nothing for most any car/truck made today to go through a foot of snow.....unless it's a 2 cylinder nothing econobox.----6

I hate walking outside the first thing in the morning and seeing these birds hovering over and staring at me. If there was not a law, I'd kill em. Don't care if they are "good" for the environment or not.

Then I looked over in the pasture and our horse was laying down....looked like he was 💀 dead but just taking a break. Contrary to what we are told, buzzards will start eating even when the animal still has life left in them.-----6

Pitchy, was amazed at howm uch it snowed between 0200 and 0830. I think it would be cool to have turkeys in the yard, well Maybe for a little while if they werent to loud....

Sixgun, vultures only eat dead stuff, and wolves cougars and bears only eat the sick and lame!! :P

I've had enough "winter" for this year already, i do miss feeding my birds tho, glad i have 6 dogs to pay attention to when their owners are at work.

Y'all ever listen to the song; "Put another log on the Fire" Stay warm and out of the ditch! Tidd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

I get a kick out of the fact the buzzards roost on the cell towers! It's funny they are constantly getting all that microwave radiation each time someone makes a call.

Hey Pitchy, looks like you got some snow!
We are still getting up and down weather, but have a good amount. Fixed a plugged pilot jet on the sled last week. Put new intake boots on her too. If the rubber cracks, it will suck air and burn the motor up.
My truck is finally fixed, got to go pick it up after coffee. I ran it for almost a month waiting to get in. I had to drill holes and zip tie the plastic together. It was flapping around pretty good. :D
And no. Nobody as classy as ole Doc in our family!

Six,
My dad is like you and can wait it out. Me, not so much. I have to clean up. All our vehicles are four wheel drive but the big storms have to be taken care of. Wife and I have to get to work. My buddy parks here on my weeks to drive also.
Glad your horse is ok bro.

We don't have buzzards here. We do have turkey vultures. They build nests on the tops of power line poles. Ugly things. We have lots of eagles, owls, and hawks too. They nail a lot of peoples pets, even in town.

Ok, while you guys were laying about braggin' on how much snow you have to deal with... I decided to rearrange some furniture... moved the gun safe from where it'd made some impression... across the room, where it seems less obtrusive. Found something interesting, and thought I'd see if y'all be interested.

Looks dangerous but we`ll give it a try, two turkey`s were out there freezing their feet off this morn looking for chow but none to be had.
The thing about turkeys is if ya feed them next thing you`ll have 50 of them sitting and chitting all over everything.
Oh, got plowed out so made a run to town to stock up on bacco and rum so set for the cold spell.

What's all this shyt??? I go to Costco and you guys are just a partying away! Wassa mata...(Ebonics)...you don't like my company?

Griff holding out on his iron goods.....lookee at all dem shooting irons! and they are just the longguns!...

Turtleman, Griff, Pitchy, "The Gunny", Buffalo Jay...all just a chattin' away. Where's that Mustang man? and dat otta guy.."Mr. Soft Stuff"?
We're growing guys...the most popular thread on the innanet. (More Ebonics). Yep, it was a great idea from us to make this a fun thread.

I was wrong in my assumption of snow...I forgot Jay and Pitchy get huge amounts and if you don't plow, it will freeze and when the next layer comes, your phucked. OK, I apologize...but.....if Pitchy does get in a bind, he can always dip in the 55 gallon drum of Rum and pour it on the ice.

Funny thing, I go to Costco with my Donald Trump shirt on and my "Trump 2020" 🎩. Had several people come up to me and comment positively. :D ..until....I get to the register. The punky looking kid running the register says, after tallying everything up, "$337".....I joked and said...laughing my azz off..."whoa! that's highway robbery" . He looks at my shirt and says, "well, if you don't like it, you can take your business elsewhere." So, I dig in my pocket and pull out a thick wad of green, peeled off several Ben's and tell him, "young man, may God Bless Donald Trump for making this economy so great, you should be so fortunate to have such a great leader," :D

They had a sale on led shop lights....all the electricity sucking 8 foot fluorescent lights in the garage are coming out.---6

With the way this thread is going, it's impossible to keep up with everything everybody says..at least it is for me...about the only thing I remember is the last post posted.

Page 54 coming up! Hey Pitchy..does Page "54" ring a bell? Yep, it's the year you and I were born and was also the name of a cool cop 👮 TV 📺 program...remember "Car 54"......where are yooooooouuuuu?

You want to hear something that will turn your stomach? I met this guy at the post office today...saw him many times, but never talked to him......he complimented me on my Trump T-shirt so I shook his hand. The next thing you know, we both have many common friends and he was telling me how he retired from the Chester, Pa. police force after 20 years. This guy is only about 50 and he was telling me about how his kids are NOT allowed to mention our Presidents name in school. When he heard that he flew to the school board and ripped them a brand new AH......but.....it still stands.

If this is the way our country is going we are doomed.

Jay...keep the lights away from your B coat..it will dry the stitching out in your pockets and we all know you need them.

Anyway, on a lighter and fun note, I took a pic of those buzzards eating what's left of the groundhog they started on last month....yuk! range is about a hundred yards and the spotting scope was set on about 30X----6

About the old JD, power steering was optional and apparently the original owner didn`t want to spend the money so when ya hit something with one wheel the steering wheel spins and try`s to break your wrist.
Then it only has a trip bucket the hyd. only lift so ya have to steer, run the hyd. lever and run the clutch lever by hand and steer at the same time.
Gets to be a full time job. :)
Yep Six the country is going down hill fast, it`s aggravating but i think in the end we will win. :)
Like they say ya can`t fight dumb , but God can.

We think that's funny...on the Pelosium. I think it's hilarious.....but here's the problem...half the country agrees with her.... AND THATS SCARY!

Just watched the World News on ABC.....lady gets shot setting up a garage sale.....FOUR high government people in Virginia with dirt....guy shoots a 🚌 school bus......Trump getting continually harassed for BS......

It could be used for any kind of book but again that's not the primary use.

Oooohhhhhh man.....I'm pizzed. I KNEW THE ANSWER.....I KNEW THE ANSWER!!!!!!......

It's a specially built box with extraordinary architecture designed by the master of workworking and commissioned by Mr. Model 63 to hold the world's most valuable piece of paper.....the business/hobby card of Mr. Model 63, himself ....with the eventual permanent resting place in the United States archives, to be in the same drawer with the Constitution.

When you make something, you go all out and I bet it took several days. I have 8 hours into each of mine. I see it's black walnut and while I never tell anyone what they could do better on a piece of craftsmanship like yours as it's the best that can be and to duplicate it is over my head.....but....but.....the interlocking Velcro....not cheap regular Velcro that collects animal hair..but the interlocking stuff will hold it without falling out will be a great addition.

I'll send you 2 or 300 more of my cards to fill up any empty space in your well thought out drawer. :D (not really, just being big headed)

I really did know that Gunny before you disclosed the answer. it is a tablet holder. I've made five, one from holly wood for my wife's smaller tablet. On mine I used walnut with a hole in the back to insert my finger and "pop it out" using Scotch brand interlocking Velcro. It holds the tablet securely with NO wobble with cutouts for 🎧, recharging, and the sound. I can hold it upside down...anyway I want to hold it and it stays put. Mine is pretty beat up now using it for about 4 years.

The other two I made I used 🍒 wood and English walnut. ---the next one will be, well, you know..O.O.----6

Oh...oh....oh....my Vortex scope came back yesterday and I'm in the process of switching mounts and stocks from the 700 in .308 to my very first rifle I bought with my own money back in '73....same short action heavy barreled 700 in 22-250.

Well....there's a first-of-the-year levergun silhouette match at the gun club tomorrow.....but.....la high of 34 with 35 mph winds..phuck dat....even with the new room they built on the firing line with heating/AC. I'm now officially a "fair weather shooter/competitor.....and.......and.....

The big 2000 table show at Oaks.....yea, I'm thinking 'bout that.....thinking of moving the other Model 63 carbine.....but...but....
I think my new Toyo tires will be in tomorrow and I don't want to miss .....so many things to do and they are all on the same day.--6
