Prayers For My Mother

Post by Blaine »

She's 93. They found her unresponsive today at the place where she lives. She's been placed in full time hospice until she recovers, or not. She's kicked the Reaper's butt a dozen times and is tough. My feelings are for the Father to let her recover, or if not, swiftly and comfortably take her home.

Best wishes for your mom, Blaine! I lost mine less than a year ago and still wake up just about every morning thinking I need to give her a call.

She'll be in my prayers, Blaine.

My Mom had to go into a hospice just after Y2K, where they made her comfortable with morphine until she passed after about a week there.

I don't know how those hospice workers can keep doing what they do, smiling & being supportive while the patient's family members are yelling at them for not curing whatever the patient had.

Just remarkable...….

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.
