Hey thanks!! 64 times around the sun, launching trip #65 today. Celebrating by driving 6 hours into the northern wilds for a week. Looking forward to the sound of the Loons at night, fishing for Smallmouth Bass, and the mist rising off the water in the morning.

Jerry, it’s just my wife and me this time.

I know you've heard THIS one: You can demand in the left hand and &&&& in the right hand and see which one fills up first.

No Blaine...never did hear that one......I have heard something very similar which is common with my wife's family....."They give with the right hand and take with the left."--- :D

You know, "Hey Jack, remember when you used my screwdriver, well, can I borrow your tractor for a few days?....it has a full fuel tank, don't it?" No wonder I'm so damm miserable. ----6

Well, if you (or any other lever gunner) are ever up here, the welcome mat is out! Thank you again, all, for those birthday wishes.

Kirk, when I asked about Sam, I was thinking about your 94 30-30. Sure do hope ya'll have a good, safe trip up there. I know the North woods are nice to be in good fishing and a lot of game to see when you are slipping along in a good canoe.

You bet. I've got my trusty 30-30 with me. My favourite travelling rifle.
