Model 94 Winchester value?

Post by Mossyoak1957 »

Question......Does a Winchester Model 94 Flat Band in .32 Spl. made in the 40's worth anymore then a round band ,both in very good condition?

Thanks

A round band from the '40s, might just be a rarer bird than the flat band. But... that's simply a guess.

People seem to put a premium on the flatbands around the gun shows. Griff may be right though, to a knowledgeable 94 collector (which I'm not) the round band in the same era may be worth more.

.

AFAIK, round bands were discontinued in favor of flat bands to speed production, then after WWII the flat bands were discontinued & round band production was resumed.

So, I believe both versions were not produced at the same time.
