Amelia Earthart's Final Flight

Post by Pitchy »

I`ve been interested in this story for years and i think the findings in these videos are probably what happened to her.
Fascinating but sad, RIP

I been watching and reading about her lately. How do you know which story to believe? Is sad if true, but at least her relatives might get some closure. Todd

I personally think her plane went down at sea and likely will never be found. Or if found it may not be identifiable among other wreckage. Sad, but it's been a long time now, with a lot of people searching and guessing what happened. Nothing concrete.

To me the Japanese story makes the most sense and the most evidence and it wouldn`t surprise me a bit about the Gov covering it up.

I figure it is like the Challenger Space Shuttle blowing up....a tragedy for sure, but on the other hand, she clearly lived a life full of gusto and adventure, and knew the risks she was taking.

There used to be a guy named Wayne Green that was a magazine publisher. He published a Ham radio magazine. He used to say he sat at supper with someone that knew her. She was actually on a mission for the U.S Gov't to gather information about Japanese troop strength in the Pacific. Witness accounts say her plane landed on an atoll where she was taken prisoner by the Japs and sent back to the homeland along with her plane.

Yep i think that`s pretty accurate other than most evidence points towards her and the plane were sent to Siapan where they were held prisoner for a time then executed.

What I find sad is that a well known person could and did just fall off the face of the earth without a trace. Seems to me that if the Japanese had caught her prior to the war they would have made a big stink of trying her for espionage. Propaganda is an overused tool.

Since there is no concrete evidence my theory is she ran out fuel and ditched in the ocean. Probably went down with the plane.

In all the vids i posted there seems to be plenty of evidence she was captured by the Japanese.
