So when I carry a 9mm afield-walkabout-ridgerunning, more often than not it is loaded with somewhat unconventional magtech 9d 95 gr. jsp....

Youtube videos and webzine articles for this load seem nonexistent and product reviews are rare.....

But sometimes you read a unique review that makes you chuckle.....

From 2007 :

"I carry the excellent but hard to find magtech 9d jacketed soft point load when bowhunting for black bear in minnesota. It kills bear plenty good with lung shots and not too much tracking."

And a 2011 update reply to the same review :

"Out on parole now.....even got my hunting privileges back but can no longer own or carry a gun anymore".....

And here is a good review re. russian made .410 slugs :

"While washing dishes, Ma killed a nice nine pointer at about 40 paces from the kitchen window of our trailer with one of your excellent golden bear 97 gr. 3" .410 slugs. We had quite a row while trying to recover it as some scoundrels in the same trailer park claimed it as their kill. I lost a couple of teeth in the melee and I think I'll be able to see again in that eye after the swelling abates so all's well that ends well !"
