Sunset!

Post by Mainehunter »

For your viewing pleasures...……..

Panoramic shot up to camp taken by my daughter yesterday evening. As they say "I've never heard silence quite this loud!" It was literally dead silence with no one on the pond which is quite rare. I was tempted to go out and throw my fly line out over the dock but I couldn't do it. It was just too beautiful to disturb!

Cool. Rare. Only seen that once or twice in 50 years.

Thanks for sharing.

We just came back from a week up at Rangeley Lake and we had a few quiet moments like that...

Now you've done it. I'm in search of hush puppies. Dunlawton is a bit of a drive for me though.

I'm heading up there for several days starting this Saturday before the crew get's there by next Thursday. Going to do some fly fishing over at Magalloway River for rainbow's and cross up to Aziscohos Dam for some troute or salmon. I haven't fished up in that area in years! Can't wait!!! :D

No pic, but I saw the mythical Green Flash on the Samoa/Eurika Pacific beach at sunset. Dead calm, slack tide. 8)

I like this one. The atmosphere can do things to an image no photoshopper could ever imagine.
