How about... FREE gun disassembly walkthroughs

Post by Old Ironsights »

On your computer, in 3D.

Totally Free.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2624 ... sassembly/

Install the "Steam" app (free) and then install the game (also free).

It walks you through the strip, then makes you remember the re-assembly.

You can do field strip to full armorer's breakdown of 179 different firearms from the 1805 Harper's Ferry pistol to the 2015 Ruger Precision Rifle.

Sadly, only one Lever - the 1873 Winchester.

The "game" aspect of it is that you unlock later/more complicated guns by tearing down and assembling earlier/simpler guns.

Still, really cool.

Kinda reminds me of my 3rd year final exams at TSJC gun smith school.
The final exam was you draw 2 guns from a hat, 1 you disassemble completely and pass to someone else to reassemble. In return you got a box of parts to reassemble.
I dont remember what I took apart but I got the Remington 3200 to reassemble, all 140 odd parts. But here's the kicker, I had a pair of 3200's that I had rebuilt the previous summer so I knew them inside & out!
