HELP - Bullet Mold Wanted

Post by redgum »

I'm looking to get hold of a .38/357 hollow point mold.
I had the LEE No.90484 or 90485 in mind but cant find one here in OZ and apparently they are not made as a standard item anymore.
RCBS 'Devastator" looks good but again can't locate one here.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Kind regards.....

G'day Redgum,
Do you mean the Lyman Devastator as pictured on the following site...

There wouldn't be problem with having one sent to you from an American friend would there?

I still have some magazines to send your way.

I'm also looking for the 358156 Devastator Hollow Point gas checked Lyman die, but haven't been able to locate one as of yet.

They're no longer listed in their catalog so I've been checking the auctions and eBay to no avail.

G'day again 20Cows, Hope all is well with you & yours.
That's an option I may have to look at, if I can locate one somewhere.
Like Papa, I've been scouting around auction sites and message boards but can't find one yet, but I'll contact you if I ever do.

Look at this website:

http://www.gunaccessories.com/Lee/Molds ... tMolds.asp

I found these two moulds,

LEE90484
Hollow Point Cavity Bullet Mold - 358-150-SWC
$32.95

and

LEE90485
Hollow Point Cavity Bullet Mold - C358-158-SWC
$32.95

Their stated international policy does not look like bullet moulds would be problem for overseas shipping.

Thanks for the tip 20Cows, I'm still waiting on a reply from those guys.
I sent an inquiry about the #90484 on Sept 30 hoping they might have one in old stock,(especially since it's still listed on their site).
I emailed Lee-Precision a cpl weeks back and they said that it is no longer available :( ah well..... the search continues
