Got out with the 99 this morning. First five round out of the box was down right impressive!
New Federal .300 Savage,150 Gr. SPs at 50 yds.
Had some fun with the Shockwave as well. Cabela's has re-branded the Herters name and has some interesting new shells. The 2 1/4" 00 was a hoot. Gotta hold a little low with that thing but, what a hoot! Just plain fun and makes a heck of a hallway clearer!
I picked up a set of NOS RCBS dies on GunBroker and have some new Hornady brass on the way.
This one's a keeper for sure!

Nice! You're very modest giving all the credit to the rifle.
Have you hugged your rifle today?

Nice shootin' ! !
I'm in lust with both my 1914 Savage 1899H in .303, and the 20ga Shockwave clone I made from a field model Mossberg.

Well, there's a really nice thing to say. Honestly, I just put the front sight on the red dot and pulled the trigger.
Pete,
That Mossberg is a hoot, but I pulled something today. My right thumb has been killin' me all day. I don't remember overextending it, but I must have with those 00 loads. That thing ain't for sissies, that's for sure!

Learn something every day, so can I drink the beer after my thumb has been stuck in it for three hours?
