New show "Yellowstone"

Post by Bullard4075 »

Started to watch the new tv show "Yellowstone" episode 2 , missed the first. I know it is fashionable now days to talk filth, GD and the f- word every sentence but it only took a few minutes and we turned it off. Probably could have been a good show although wouldn't have been long before global warming and other trendy garbage ,maybe a transgender horse -it is set in the west after all- would appear. We won't be back.

Yeah........I intended to watch this show, right up until Commie Costner got on "The View" and said he isn't recognizing America now.
Done.

The promos looked like a soap opera. Somebody that saw it told me it reminded them of Dallas, which also came to mind after seeing the promos.

Drama, in the eye rolling sense.

They must think the whole world thinks like they do. It is just to nasty for me.

Read the plot. Saw the actors. Didn't even bother.

We don't have a 'TV' in the house, and no 'cable' Not satellite. If I really want to watch something I will watch it on the internet, or but the DVD. Saves money and sanity.

100% agree about them using the F word so much. We have turned off shows that just had cussing ever other sentence.

I saw the first episode of 'Yellowstone' and I could see it was just gonna be a drama show with a bunch of 'save the whales' stuff.

If you want a good series go see the old Longmire series. It was a good one. I liked it when Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) said, "What is, is." And Longmire flips over that statement.

For you see folks, in life.. what is, is. Just take it as it comes.

I have watched the first two episodes. I think they are over complicating it ,drama wise, and making it too hard to believe.
I was excited about it when they first advertised it was comming but after the first couple episodes I am not overly happy about it.the photography and scenery is good though.
I have pulled a calf or two and never have seen one jump up and fun off imediatly after birth and have dry fir.

yes I rolled my eyes when that freshly born three day old calf ran off. haha. Dallas is very much what it reminded me of......with much better scenery , but I may have a pinch of bias as I lived in Mt.

I finished the second episode this morning and will be watching part three when it shows up on Amazon. For a modern day western it's not bad at all.

Watched about 30 minutes of the first program, that was more than enough for me. Soap opera plot (if there even WAS one), too many characters, too many F-bombs and other foul language, waste of time.

Well when he shot a 5 gallon bucket of tannerite to take out a tree, yes it must be a present day western but D... that was cool and made a big hole in the ground.

I've been too busy watching and explaining Preacher season 3 to my wife to take in Yellowstone. I'll probably pass.

And just brought awareness of tannerite to the entire public. They will soon be wailing about having it banned. You can bet there will be nothing in the show showing the good side of sportsmen and their tools.
