Just home from LGS- pics added!

Post by GunnyMack »

Where I picked up a LNIB Rizzini BR550 in 28 ga.
As soon as I walked in the door my eyes went directly to a Parker laying on the table. Not your regular run of the mill Parker but a .410! Never did I expect to see one, all I ever see are 12's & 20's.
After my transaction was completed ( NCIS only took about 20 minutes!) the shop owner said come in the vault I want to show you MY Parkers... He has a pair of .410's that have awesome wood, some case color remaining, great blue. Then he hands me his 28 ga! Oh my what a beautiful shotgun, truly gorgeous wood including beaver tail forearm. He is a 410 fanatic and a skeet shooter so those 410's have seen their share of targets!

Nice. Wood and engraving are amazing. Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

I have never been a big shotgunner and have never shot skeet or trap other than hand thrown targets out in a pasture. But back in the 90s I was stationed in Germany when there were still Rod and Gun Clubs that sold guns. I had no clue that Rizzinnis were so high dollar. I passed on a nice 20 ga O/U and it was selling for about $350. Unfortunately I was a young buck sergeant that had a family to feed.

VERY NICE, hope you enjoy your shotgun.
