Kel-Tec recall for some SUB-2000's

I'm still glad Kel-Tec is out pushing the edge of firearms innovation, even though their guns sometimes get eye-rolls.

even though they hail from my home state I have never been able to trust anything they make.

My grandson Jerry 3 has three Kel Tec guns. His first one is the .380. He has put a lot of rounds from this little gun. A few years ago he bought a P11, that is a fine shooting piece. About three years ago be bought a 9mm Sub 2000, I really like that little carbine, I could hit clay birds at 200 yards with it consistently . No complaints about Kel Tec around here.

Looks like it wasn't a Kel-Tec problem but a supplier problem. Only on 2017s and then only on a few of them. I hope they don't suffer business loss.

PillHer has a 9mm Sub 2000. Not one of the recalls. She loves it. The 9mm out of the 16 inch barrel is far enough from your ears to make a surprising difference in noticeable sound. It is accurate. Hers is the Glock magazine model. They are a fun little pack away gun.

My son has one of theTrayvon Martin Commemoratives, and while it isn't his favorite go-to sidearm, it is one he uses as a backup/tacklebox firearm.

I have their 22 WMR pistol and like it, although I'd like a Rock Island 1911 in 22 WMR now that they are available.

How many rounds does that RIA hold? That KelTec is 30 IIRC....I'd like one of the 30 round KTs someday.
