Did a little shootin' the other day.

Post by 2ndovc »

Dodging thunderstorms yet again but wanted to get some shooting in. I put a new scope on my Savage MK II TRR-SR and got it sighted in. Shooting at 50 yds with my elbows resting on the bench, this was the last group I shot with Federal American Eagle .22LRs.

Popped off a few rounds with the Speed Six as well. The bowling pins at the range took a beating. :D

First time out with the PC9. I'd ordered this a couple of months ago but my FFL guy is pretty small time and had to wait for his order to be filled.
Sights need to be corrected to the left, but what a hoot! Ran through 100 rounds without a single hiccup! Looks like it preferrs the 124 grain bullets over the 115s. I'm going to put a compact 1-4x Weaver on it and see what I can do. Breaks down just like the 10/22s and stores nicely in a backpack. I had one of the originals and sold it when they started hitting $800+. Always wished I'd kept it, it was just plain fun. This one is even better now that I can use my pile of Glock Magazines.

That carbine looks fantastic.

American eagle ammo has performed very well in all my rifles over the years.

Thanks Guys! We have several Savage MKII's in the house, they're all deadly accurate.

Nath, the Ruger is super fun. While not as accurate as my Sig MPX it's a whole lot cheaper and just as reliable. :D

Happy you got out between the thunderstorms! :D
