Where's the Outcry to Ban Jeeps/Autos?

Post by Old No7 »

VERY SAD for this family where the Father Took Family to Lunch -- Then Ran Them Down with a Jeep (click for link)...................

But one wonders where is the public outcry to ban Jeeps, autos -- or dining out?

If he had used a firearm, we all know what they'd be saying today............

What a $%@#& crazy world we live in................

per the news story . . . . "in recent months, Self had been wrestling with mental illness, Austin Rammell, a pastor at Venture Church, told WSOC. A family friend for 16 years, he told the station that Self was beset by anxiety, depression and mental breakdowns. Sometimes he would go days without leaving his bed, Rammell said.

“He’s been taking precautions. He had all the guns removed from his house, so he was making steps that were rational steps.”
Of course.....NORMAL people own cars; only weird people own g-g-g-guns....

Sad thing is, they just haven't gotten around to talking about banning cars. Oh wait, some of the idiots here want to ban gasoline cars in the very near future and are talking about banning all private transportation.

Well, with all those mental problems, they could have pulled his licence at least.
I realize that wouldn't stop him necessarily, but today it's more fashionable to do nothing, then when they finally kill someone, call it a "tradgedy" and ban inanimate objects.
Sorry for the rant, but we recently lost a local deputy to a guy who was arrested in Massachusetts on a gun possession charge, then let out on a reduced bail. So much for the big gun control, zero tolerance, example set by Mass. This is the SECOND time this judge has done this resulting in a murder. He HAD to have known this loser would run back to Maine where he was from.
There....Im done. :(
