I can see a purpose for something like that. If you live in one of those highly restrictive Liberal States, you might not be able to purchase a firearm without a lot of trouble. That airgun has enough power to do some real damage.

...and you'd NEVER have to rely on getting powder or primers...

...in fact, if it would accept saboted projectiles, you'd only need some sort of caliber-appropriate sabot in order to have a fairly decent bad-guy-stopper...

My inner cynic thinks that as soon as it gets so bad that one cannot have real guns and ammo, that they will cut WAY back on the power air guns will be allowed to have. :evil: Airgun power is regulated in England, isn't it?

Yes, Blaine, 12 foot-pounds, I believe. Anything more and it has to go on your Fire Arms Certificate, and there are only so many spaces on the FAC.

Wow.....the one in the video was 430 ft-lbs with a fairly average load..... :|
