Met a Levergunner — “The Ysabel Kid”

Post by Old No7 »

As luck would have it, the latest snowstorm in the east grounded The Kid, and as I was in the area for work, we were finally able to meet after many years of buying & selling stuff and trading messages.

Jay kindly invited me to his beautiful home where I met his wife and daughter, as YK2 is away at college.

The Kid’s collection of BP revolvers is amazing, and his “sorority house” (due to all the nipples, for those who didn’t make the connection...) has grown. He had several other neat toys, and the organization of his reloading area makes me realize I have lots of work to do.

Jay and I enjoyed a Guinness and light dinner afterwards, and it was terrific to spend some time with him.

We figured you guys would want a picture — so here you go!

“No slippers” though, as I was coming from a customer visit and Jay was working from his home office.

Maybe the slippers will come out next time...

Thanks Jay — it was great to see you!
