Need prayers for a friend. Update.

Post by piller »

My friend Larry collapsed at home this morning. He was transported to the ER by ambulance, and was released at 5 pm without anyone being able to tell him and his wife Anne much of anything. He was really cold, and even with several warming blankets and the room temperature at 85 degrees, he was shivering and his teeth were chattering. His magnesium was low, and his cardiac enzymes were a little off. He is home and feeling weak. He is scheduled to have 2 basal cell carcinomas removed in a week. It seems as if he is having a lot of health issues.

I am asking for prayers for him. Please pray for healing and protection for him. Thanks.

Finally, an answer. Low blood sugar. He had been sick for a couple of days, probably food poisoning. It caused him to fall and almost pass out. His vagus nerve seems to have been affecter by the intestinal distress and worsened the symptoms. He is still weak, but he is better. Thanks for all your prayers.

Lots of tests done. The ER Doctor could not come up with a diagnosis. He is having the blood test results sent to his PCP. He was having lots of dizziness along with the other symptoms. Infection seems to be at least a likely culprit for some of the symptoms. Maybe an infection on top of another problem?
