Nifty pair of 1911 grips

Post by 2ndovc »

At least I thought so. :D

Just got these from VZ Grips. Thought they looked pretty cool on the stainless Springfield.

What are they made of?

I got a neat pair from some outfit for a double stack Para-Ordnance that was made of metal and I really like them.

These are their carbon fiber grips. I may have to order a set for my Officer's ACP. :D

.

My oldest Grandson installed very similar CF grips onto the Remington 1911 that I gifted him for his 21st B-Day, several years ago - He evidently likes them better than the custom double diamond grips that I installed when I bought it.

Nice! I looked at those too. I like the crusader. We could use a few today! :D

My thoughts exactly. I've always been fascinated by the Templars.

I'll have to see if they make them for the double-stack Para or Rock Island 1911's.... 8)

Templars?

First thing I thought of was "NONE SHALL PASS!"

Seriously, very cool.

I think the same thing every time I have it out. :D

The pistol is breaking in nicely, crazy accurate. I'm enjoying the 9mm in the 1911, reliable magazines are another thing. Not as easy to find as they are for the .45ACP. I did pick up a couple of Wilson Combat magazines, that seems to have done the trick. Midway had them on sale for awhile, otherwise they're a bid pricy.

Thinking a Colt Gold Cup in 9mm may be in the near future. :D
