Cannon Safes Warranty

Post by TomF »

My home received 13" water during hurricane Harvey. After we cleaned up the mess, I called Cannon to see about purchasing new "guts" for my safe. The Cannon CS guy said he'd start a warranty claim. Huh? All I want are the insides. He explained their warranty, (fire, flood, burglary attempt) and once I submitted proof ( address, pictures and news article) they had a new safe(larger than my original) shipped to my temporary address, free of charge. I keep the old safe as well, warranty shifted to the new safe. Boy howdy was I surprised.

It's hard to find them, it seems, but there are still some companies around who stand behind their product. It's good to see Cannon on the list.

I'm glad you caught a break - I've had excellent service from my Cannon gun safe, over the past 15 years.

I know what brand just moved to the top of the list for my next gun safe.

Whoa!.....THATS what I call service and warranty at the highest level. :D

On the other hand, it shows how much of a mark-up there is on some items. Good for you.----6

Im glad to hear this kind of service still exists. Especially in this "Made in China" garbage climate we live in.
My dad has the largest Cannon safe they make. It's a nice setup. He will be glad to hear this.
