I didn`t want to hog in on AJMD429`S thread so I thought I`d start another, his thread gave me a idea so I went out and made one.

Well it's safe. Now weld it to a 50 pound block of steel so they don't want to carry it off too! ;)

So, how did you fasten it on the inside? That pin looks pretty long in the first picture.

Thanks, the shaft was cut off so flush on the inside and welded in. :)

When I was in the USMC in 1964-'68, "locking" ammunition cans of various designs were very common. Have not thought about them in years. Believe mine is in the shop or some place where I put so I could find it....
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....
