Talk about dense!!! I'm looking at the picture and saying to myself, "this guy is nuts, I don't see a scratch on it.....lots of nice engraving but the engraver did an excellent job, he did not mess up".

Ain't easy being half Italian.....nice gun dude...it's a keeper for life.---6

It's marked .45 Colt on the rib between the barrels.

Yep; 45 colt, and/or 410 2 1/2" or 3".
My usual carry is Hornady Critical Defense 185 gr. 45 colt in the top barrel & The Winchester PDX1 Defender 3", made for the Handguns & such in the bottom barrel.
With the fixed sight on the top barrel, sight is so-so for the 45Colt. For the bottom barrel, the Colt prints low by 8" or so.
For practice, I shoot my 45 Colt hand loads. 250 gr. LSWC, with a nice amount of Unique. This gives me approx. the recoil of the .410.
And then I have my 45 Schofield 200 gr. Cowboy loads in Black Powder. With the closed breach black powder is an easy clean-up.
