.

The only BP I ever ordered through Graff's was Goex, and not any trade named BP - Sorry......

Graff's service was excellent, though, the 4-5 times I've dealt with them over the years.

I'm among the fortunate, with at least one local funshop stocking Holy Black; but their inventoried brands switch as whatever BP's available - the last time I bought was 1lb cans (10) of Swiss FFFg.

Pete, We made the pilgrimage Saturday to the Log Cabin Shop, haven't been there in ages. They have been open around 70 years, Big fun!! ....but they get $30.00 a pound for Old Esenford .http://www.logcabinshop.com/

Try Powder Inc -- https://powderinc.com/

Sells in 5, 10, and 25 lbs. lots. Shipping and HAZMAT included in price.

Been dealing with Powder Inc for close to 20 years and am well satisfied.

Graf's BP is Wano re-labeled. It's what I'm using and works well enough. It's the only black powder I can buy without mail-ordering and paying the haz-mat fee. It's good powder.

It's been many years since I ordered Black from anyone, but the last place I ordered from was Coonies. Someone posted something about Buffalo outfitter a few days ago and I saw they offered several different kinds of Holy Black.

I shoot a LOT of Blackpowder and participate on a couple of dedicated traditional muzzleloader forums. Graf's powder doesn't get any "blackeyes" in that crowd.
Nobody is griping about it.
IMHO: $30.00 a pound is unacceptable. I've been to the Log Cabin shop and found them to be decent folks. I'm disappointed to read that they charge that kind of money for real blackpowder when it's being sold through the mail in the $16.00-$17.00 range plus shipping of course, but even at that...it doesn't add 14 bucks a pound to it if you're buying any quantity.

I have been paying $14 plus change for Graf's 2F or 3F at a store in OKC....It's cheaper than the BP subs at the same store!
