Today was the last Saturday for this game bird season in England. I used my AyA Cosmos today and let Jess hunt.

Hey Nath, come across the pond- our bird season runs until mid March. Claro would love to find some birds for you to shoot!

Those are some good looking ringnecks. We used to hunt them all the time back in Kansas when I was a kid. We cut them up and baked them in Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup. Best wild game I have ever eaten. Could be due to their eating so much Milo around that time.

Thanks Nath, always great pictures. It must feel good to pull one down with the flintlock. I have not bird hunted in years. Growing up I hunted with a Stevens 20 gauge single barrel. Around home we had pheasant, ruffed grouse, and woodcock. I do miss that time.

So good to see you two out and about. I was getting around really well until last Friday when I fell and hurt my new knee. Had it x-rayed and they said all is well but it sure is sore. I so want to get out but spending some time is my shop is better than sitting in the house.
Lovely cocks. I'd use some of those feathers to tie flies with.
