Excellent photos. But I will ask you the same question I have asked the folks at Rifle Magazine -- where's the full-length picture of the entire rifle? (They will publish a long article with a couple of dozen photos -- and never a single one of the full rifle.)

Ok, very nice pics and I may be half Italian but....am I missing something here? Is this a gun you had converted? If so, I'd be interested in hearing about the rifling twist you had put n it.---6

The Rest of the Story Bob aka 30-30 had remarked on another post He had seen that rifle at a shop near Him. I sent Him a message about it and He went and took the pictures for Me. Thank You Sir.
In the mean time I have been off of work for the last month after another eye surgery. can't lift anything or do anything but walk. spent all day for the last three weeks surfing the net and found one on Gunbroker. put a bid on it Tuesday never expected to win it but I did Wednesday . should get it next week. Here it is.https://www.gunbroker.com/item/737513172

Yeh..that is a nice buy on that Gun Broker .44-40 sporting rifle!

I bought a Rossi .44-40 carbine used a few years ago and paid $400(local buy). The Rossi I bought is quite similar to the carbine in the OP pics but probably an older Interarms import. At the time it was about impossible to find a .44-40 chambered Rossi...all being .357, .44 mag, or .45 Colt.

Well ... anyone interested in this Rossi (see above pics). It's an Interarms Rossi Model 65 SRC in .44-40 in pretty good shape the pawn shop that is selling it wants $470.00 which includes shipping. If your interested PM me and I'll give you their info... :)

PS -- Your Welcome .45Colt, by the way my name is BOB, not Brent, but my best friend is Brent, so all is cooool ... :)
