I guess I really like lever actions...
Hope you enjoy the photos, this is basically whats left after thinning out a few at gun shows. The 1892 and 94 are Dads.

Yep, no cure. Fortunately! The 1876 is a Chaparral, the rest are Winchesters.

Rihmfire indeed I do! I also know what I have to shell out to obtain a box of those!!!
Twobit I certainly will add the 1892 to your survey, as it is a low digit serial under 2000. However.....here is a condensed story about it. Dad bought it in 1944 in a barbershop in Las Vegas New Mexico for $20 when he was stationed there. Came back to Youngstown Ohio for leave, disassembled the gun, then he was shipped overseas to the Philippines. The family moved when he was away taking only the completed receiver with them. Fast forward to 1999 and I decide to rebuild the thing. Got a Winchester letter stating it was 38-40 octagon rifle. Okay, but...Dad SWEARS it was in 44-40 with a bulged barrel when he bought it. Thats why he took the barrel off. He was so sure it was in 44-40 that I rebuilt it in that caliber, despite contacting the Cody museum and asking them to recheck the records. So, I can give you the details you want about the receiver but not the completed gun as it has been rebuilt.

I'm not sure merely "like" is adequate...
And while that's not all at the time, a few more have been added in the intervening years.
