My Rifle Is Back From Marlin
I posted 2 weeks back about my new Marlin 1894 FG 41 mag jamming open. http://www.levergunscommunity.com/viewt ... 225bfb87d5 I shipped it to Marlin last Monday & got it back today. I wrote a letter about the issues I was having. It came back with an invoice saying "new carrier fitted, new extractor installed, cleaned & test fired by Bob M." I just cycled ten rounds through it without a hitch. Will try to test fire it tomorrow. The action cycles easier now. Nice turn around time. If I'm able to hit the barns broad-side, I'll give a mini range report. Chris

I think the 41 is where Marlin got the bad rap for the jamb, as I have heard of many of those 41's having that problem, and very few of the other calibers. I hope they got yours straightened out.

It sounds like they replaced the 44 mag carrier with the right component.
Ya done good.
I wonder how many more there are still having problems in the hand of disappointed owners.
