Yep - They seem to go for $400 (fair condition) - $600 (minty) in LGS' here, if/when one comes available.

I had one years ago. I just needed to make room for something else. They're great little shooters. If you'er into collecting and that sort of thing there's also some smooth bore barrels for them that turned them into a short range shotgun of sorts. Remington had visions of turning them into an indoor trap game in their day. There's a lot of history there besides them being a great little rimfire shooter.

I have one with a 24xx serial number. Bought new by my grandfather, my father, brother, sister and myself learned to shoot with it. Still take it out from time to time. Still works great.

I've owned several over the years. Just about equivalent to a Winchester 61, but priced significantly less.

The vintage market has come way down. You can find some pretty nice ones in the $400-$500 range.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

If it's priced right I would grab it, very nice little pumps, run forever.

If the price is anywhere near right grab it up.

My favorite 22 rifle -- have a couple here. Well, one of 'em is the model 12, so a few years older but same design.

And if it has the tang-ceiver peep sight with it, that would add $100 to what I would be willing to pay...
