Nice pic/gun porn... ;)

Mine's a 1914 Model 1899-H chambered in .303 Savage with Lyman 1A tang sight.

The only other rifle that I've come across over the past 50-odd years that was as smooth or smoother was a commercial Steyr-Mannlicher 6.5x54 Model 1903 sporting rifle.

That is a sweetly composed photo.
Pete, I am jealous. Always wanted a 99 in .303 Savage but never found one at the right price with a decent bore.
