We went out and through together a simple rubber band gun, works pretty good.

Pitch, I'd have never thought of your repeater design in a million years. Very cool. Sure could have made my little brothers jump with that thing.

Thanks Bill, it`s not my design found a picture on the web.
Can picture a pump shotgun with the same principle. :)

Mrs. Fordwannabe thought the rifle was cool too. She has bought me several rubber band guns she saw at different craft shows and such. Thanks for the detail photos.

Cool. Years ago, my kids had some which used a sprocket at the back to hold the rubber bands. It was a plastic sprocket and the trigger would catch the sprocket and hold it from turning. Each trigger pull released 1 rubber band. I think it held 8 or 10 shots. It was purchased at a gun show. Www.the-rubber-band.com and search for cog wheel. There are plans on the internet to make ones like it out of wood.
