New to me Western.

I have just watched on Netflix " Godless " and really enjoyed it, plenty of firearms and some quite bloody action. 8)
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

As soon as I get a couple others that I'm following out of the way, that's next. (I suppose it's no use to hope for more Longmire :( )

You just miss that deputy heifer with the top three buttons of her shirt undone…..

they were playing that show in the break room at work when a brother of few words said softly "that pale chick she shore got a pretty mouth"
Actually, Cady was more my cup of tea.... (At my age, if someone gave me a choice of anything on the show, I'd take the 94 :P )

Finished Longmire, now on episode 5 of Godless. An excellent show but it seems that it's more of a mini-series as no more than this 7 are planned. Set in 1884, so of course I've got my gun eye out for anything that shouldn't exist at that time.

We finished Longmire. I think they left it open enough so they could extend it if there's enough interest.

I saw an ad for GODLESS but never watched it yet. Thanks for the update.

I just finished Longmire also.
Ol' Walt shot the bad guy, got the girl , and rode of into the sunset.
A pretty good ending I thought.

I recorded Longmire when it first was on. I really wanted to like it, but gave up after about three episodes. Then last year I stumbled on to the books. So much better that the show I can't believe it! Biggest problem is getting the Kindle versions from my library, apparently I'm not the only one who has discovered them. If you like them also check out books by C.J. Box.

Watched it. It was ok.
Coolest thing was the Merwin & Hulbert
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

Yes, I thought I saw one of the young ladies loading one during the standoff at the hotel or whatever that iron and brick building was. Cool.

This just turned me off to even considering watching it. What a bunch of human trash as actors who know nothing of our history. No wonder I prefer John Wayne movies.

Hollywood certainly attracts some of the dumbest people on the planet.
Apart from the those stupid comments the movie itself was pretty good but I too find it difficult to support stupidity..... :(
I for one will never watch anything with Sean Connery in it, he was very vocal pushing for the UK handgun ban.....

Just started watching it. Pretty good, some might find the violence a bit overdone... but then, violence is often such that those unaccustomed to it find it overdone.
