My 71 is manufactured in 1951, I believe is a deluxe model. As far
as I know came from the factory as it is. If anyone sees anything
that was added I would be glad to hear that. I have done a Cody
search on it.

I will have to check when mine was made again, I forget now.
Mine is the same as yours except for the checkering.

It doesn't have checkered wood, so it's probably not a deluxe.
That Lyman 56 was probably a factory option, as were the sling swivels.

I have a 1938 deluxe that has normal rifles sights on it. No bolt peep and no receiver sight.
I have a 1936 standard that has a bolt peep and sling swivels.

Some people will try to tell you that all deluxe a had bolt peeps and no standards had deluxe sling swivels, but they could be ordered with lots of iterations.

EDIT. I can finally see the checkering on the wood now that I've zoomed in on the right photo. Either gotta clean my glasses or just throw them away and get A new pair out of the box :oops:
