Seems like a shotgun should be hanging there given all of the accoutrements hanging about. But that sure is one fine looking '73. Seems like a good bit of finish left on that rifle.

You're observant.
Normally there's a 16 ga. Parker SxS hanging in that location. Just changed things up temporarily for the picture.

Which tang sight is that? The stem looks to be 2 part ... quite long.

CSHold...I'm with ya on the 38-40. Next to the 32-20, it's my favorite cartridge.
