Interesting concept but the amount of time to unfold and employ in a tense situation could be the difference between life & death...

I'm glad someone was smart enough to invent it though....maybe someday they'll invent something else cool that I actually CAN use...!

I understand the thing about if you can't say something nice, but... that's just stupid.

I can't see how it made the Glock more compact, or better? The loss of the lower grip area sure didn't help the gun any.

Their claim to fame is that when a shorty Glock is folded, it'll fit into a belt carrier about the same size as an I-phone 7 plus.

I'm guessin' that they think a BG will wait until the user gets it out & unfolds it.

Or

Maybe it's for those folks who think they'll never really need to use it, but want to CCW anyway.

I guess it would be the thing to have if you needed to have something on you that would eventually work as a self-defense instrument, but needed in the meantime to pretend you had nothing but an odd-shaped glob of plastic and metal.

If a person lives in that kind of anti-self-defense environment, he or she needs to either:

. a) move to a better place, or
. b) just give-in and carry a can of pepper-spray....

If he or she chooses to relocate, then I'd suggest getting a REAL gun. Carry a full-size 1911, Taurus 92, or 6-shot revolver in a caliber beginning with '4' or '5'.

If he or she still has to be 'discrete' due to employer mandates or whatever, AT LEAST get something on their person that is in a caliber beginning with a '3', and has at least 5 shots....

The folding-glock is interesting, but for the same size, one could have a fully-functional SIG 938 or any number of other ready-to-go self-defense guns.
