and while the others were snoozing, I was buying......and then I got snoozed on.

Edit....yea..another model A UZI....NIB....That's makes four...better than money 💰 in the bank.

Second gun up, and usually when people are not paying attention, I snag this like new Winchester Model 62 made in 1945. I'm 99% sure I'm the second owner of this 99% .22.....the first was a returning vet from WW2. Just a tad of blue wear inside on the moving parts....may have had a box out of it. :D Yea, broke the bank out of $425 :D

And Tom...Fordwannabe ...you can't have it.

Then halfway through the auction I was snoozing....was bs'en with some buds on #3 Coors Light. I really snoozed on this one.....a decent condition Confederate Richmond Sharps....it went for a measly $4500....worth about double that.----6

Yep...I shot 3 rounds out of it ...had to be sure it worked.

Now my Model 61.....in the same condition as the 62 and was made in 1942......that I bought the same way last year has a buddy
he can BS with in the safe.

Jack you stayed awake at the right time! Great old rifle and in that condition is amazing! Well done!!

I just noticed your 'gun holders' good idea cutting notches in pvc pipe. Have to remember that.

Looks a lot like my M62 that I bought new when I was high school. A very nice rifle and still accurate after many thousands of rounds.

Yea, she's a beauty. Thank you.....there's just something about a nice classic, craftsmanship you don't see anymore on mass produced guns.....nice rich blue...perfect wood to metal fit....nice crispy trigger.......positive functioning......attention to all of the details.......and most of all....nice clean aesthetic lines, no clunky look like the British are known for. (Except their shotguns :D )

Well, I got up early today (10:00) :D so I think I'll test this baby out.---6

Nice 62A Jack! I bought one very similar to yours made in 1940 last year down here at an auction for around the same price.

Get a chance to shoot it yet? I still have to take mine out.

Yeah, but my wife keeps reminding me they're only better than money in the bank IF I sell them! ;)

Hey Jack,

What's the difference between the Model A and B?

Marlinman....I hear ya! :D .....the way I get around that is to occasionally sell one and give her some of the profits...you know, guns that no longer interest you. Let's pretend you spend a thou on a gun.....and sell it for 14......you tell her you paid $500 and sold it for a grand .....so you give her $200, you keep the rest...and you still made $200.

Jason,
The Model A was built with a real machine gun receiver and are easily made into full auto...the ATF did not like that so the gun was modified to the Model B which is the same gun but with very small changes to make it harder to turn into full auto. Either one is great but the A is slightly more desirable. ----6

Nice 61. I need one in WMR.

And who doesn't love the plush interior of a 1970's styrofoam box. Does the model A fire semi from an open bolt? That would probably drive the ATF over a cliff.

XNutjob.....no...closed bolt....I'm only by what I have been told about the Model A being easy to convert. There are websites out there that describe it but as I have no inclination to go to jail I don't bother to find out.

Hey Aussie Chris....what you been up to...ain't heard from ya in a while! I did shoot three rounds into a block of wood to make sure it fed and fired......will give it a better workout later......with of course, CCI Green Tag.....might make it my smallbore silhouette gun.....IF it's accurate.---6
