Just Tonight, with a bow...

So proud to have a kid who appreciates the land and wildlife, and has the initiative to put the work in to hunt the way he does.

He tracks and learns the herd(s) here, and harvests the best ones for herd health.

When he interrupted before we moved the deer for field dressing to say a silent prayer, as he always does to give thanks for taking-a-life to sustain-a-life, I was pretty moved.

Good times. Good meat too. Better than store-bought stuff raised in pens; at least this deer lived a normal life and had a normal death versus a scheduled execution like cows have.

When he was 13, he inherited my 1894 Marlin by harvesting Christmas Dinner with it...

A good boy.

You are rightfully proud.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Doc, that beautiful ten point is just a bi- product of your good training. Good job!!
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.
