RCBS CUSTOMER SERVICE

Post by JimT »

I unpacked my RCBS Electronic Scale and Electronic Powder Measure this week. I had packed them up in 2009 before we moved to Africa.

The Powder Measure worked fine. The Scale kept giving me an error message.

I emailed RCBS yesterday and in a couple hours received a reply stating that they had not produced that model in years and had no provision for fixing them .. BUT they included a paper with instructions on how to reboot the Scale.

I tried it. It took 5 minutes and it worked just great!

I sent them a Thank You and how I really appreciated their prompt reply.

I like it when companies take interest in their customers ... even if it was from years past.

I have had excellent service from RCBS. I guess that's why i have more green boxes than any others.

That's why I have 5 of their presses and about 80 sets of dies, along with moulds, and a million other accessories.----6

Ive also had great service from them. I had trouble with jacketed 45-70 bullets not having enough neck tension. I called to see if they had other diameter expander plugs. They didnt for 45-70, but they sent me one for 45 Colt to try, for free, and let them know how it worked out. It worked great.

Isnt it amazing how many people post without reading the thread?

With just phone call I think I have received more from them as free replacement parts than die sets I have bought.

Always good to hear about a company that really treats their customers like, well, valuable customers - the most precious asset any business can have!
