A insperation

Post by Pitchy »

I heard a story from a veterinarian from a nearby town on the radio this morning that gives me great hope and comfort.
He is a middle aged guy that was in a accident and died on the operating table and had a after life experience , he said he looked down from above and could see his sheet covered body and hear the doctors talking.
He said there is nothing on this earth that can compare to the feeling he had, he could see everything that was happening.
He said God spoke to him and said he had to go back and he told God he didn`t want to because it hurt so bad but God insisted he must go back.
He came back to life and is living today and says that life is precious and God has a plan for us and life means so much more now and he looks forward to the end someday because he knows God is real and there.
Things like this really make my day and give me hope and I hope you too.
I post this only as a inspiration to those that believe and not to start a debate weather it`s real or not so if ya don`t believe please ignore this thread.

Yup it is inspiring. Thanks Sir.

It is amazing how many of us are going to meet there with the Savior.

It gives me hope because it is a sure thing.

It's real Lenn...I have two friends, one of which is a very close friend, who both had that experience. The latter was dead on the table from his first heart attack......doctors were doing everything and were only going to hit him one more time with the defibrillator before calling it quits......well....that was five years ago and I was with him yesterday.

Long story with the details but he was in a field of flowers of vivid colors and the field was full of dogs all running around and happy. He does not worry about nothing anymore.....neither do I.-----6

I certainly believe it, Lenn. Don't know anyone who has had the experience, but i don't need to hit my hand with a hammer to know it hurts.
It is there for all to see, every day. The question is if people want to look.
I'm glad your friend's story brought you hope. We have talked of this before.
Keep the faith, bro.

Kinda sad that a lot of folks live their lives thinking the end is the end, thanks Lenn.

In one way I'm kinda looking forward to the "end". I have no doubt what happens and where I'm goin', but being stubborn, I'm hanging on as long as I can...

Plus 1.... 8) I believe. I've been having lots of dreams lately with lots of dead people in them...friends, family. I don't know what that means, but I'm sure there's a purpose. I hope it's not a tip for an up and coming event.

My Dad had just such an experience when he had his first heart attack. Above himself looking down and hearing the "Code Blue", watched as the board was placed under him. He quit smokin', drinkin" and started going to church. Oh, he spoke with Jesus too but was told to go back.
