I'll keep an eye out for it....I remember when it was out, I think the title hit me the wrong way. Reminded me of unicorns or something.

Saw it a few years back. I recall thinking it was pretty good.

Kind of a sad story, though.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

With a name like that my wife would take one look at it and rule it a chick flick and be gone.

Great movie, but depressing written by Cormac McCarthy who also wrote "No Country for Old Men" as well as many others, none happy.

There is a line in All the Pretty Horses that is used again in No Country -- "Where did you get that pistol?" "At the gittin' place"

Supposedly Billy Bob filmed it pretty close to the book and had to cut a couple hours out to get it in the theaters. I'd like to see the director's cut, but it doesn't look like Billy Bob's pride will let it go straight to DVD

Book 2: The Border Crossing
Book 3: Cities on the Plain

Are good reads. Keep your Español dictionary handy. At the end of Book 3, remind yourself that he also wrote No Country for old Men so you don't get too awful mad....

I saw it when it came to TV a few years ago. I liked the kid and his answer to where he got the gun, he said it was a 32-20 and got it at the gitin place.

I did not like No place for old Men!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunset Limited Samuel L Jackson & Tommy Lee Jones discuss the existence of God. A very dark movie.
